Not really perfect.

Now I`m going to present myself. My name is Amy Fredrixon, my last name is after my father and my fist name he gave me. He first wanted me to have the name My. But then my mother said no, because she got a reminder of the character in Moomin. Pikku Myy is not a nice child. After that my father had to rethink the name for me and he came up with the name Amy. That my mother accepted, as you noticed. I wasn`t alone in my mothers belly, I got a twin sister that took half the space. Narrow as it were, we decided in the 26 of October around 14.00 to pop out, I saw the light 37 minutes after my sister. Many years has past after that experience, and now I´m turning 21. My sister has a child, a six months little girl, her name is Ebba. So I´m an aunt, and she`s my little angel. I`ve lived in this oblong country they call Sweden all my life. To be more precise I live in the Southern region, Skåne. I don`t live in a city I live at the countryside and I`m loving it, nice and quiet. Often I stays at my boyfriend`s house. After my last years at school I´ve decided to become a kindergarden teacher and my sister a prison guard.

My reason for coming to Finland are that I have a grandmother who lives in Kemi that`s located in the northern part of Finland. So I wanted to know her cultural heritage. The Finnish country also has a good reputation when it comes to school and teaching, and that made me more curious and interested. How teaching at school and pedagogy works and how you can use and transfer it further to the children. I come from a Nordic country and still it`s not the same as home. Finland has a different culture then us, there are both differences and similarities, but I like it. I have great expectations that I going to learn a lot both practical and theoretical while I´m staying here. I know I will have a lot in my backpack when I get home, experiences from different situations and a lot more. Here I had learned to know new people that are going to effect me in different ways. This is a time to remember.
